    Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil.

    Peel and chop the potato, sweet potato and carrot into small 1.5cm pieces.

    Add the potato, sweet potato and carrot to the saucepan and cook until just tender.

    Peel and chop the brown onion into large chunks.

    Chop the capsicum into chunks.

    Slice the garlic cloves.
